Bio

Ellen Kleinstuber is the Chief Actuary at Bolton, bringing more than 30 years of experience delivering comprehensive employee benefit plan consulting, actuarial and plan administration services to a wide variety of plan sponsors, including publicly traded and privately held companies, multinational corporations, not-for-profit organizations and governmental entities. Ellen is a nationally recognized expert in ERISA compliance and actuarial consulting, actuarial professionalism, and trends in retirement plan design and the market forces affecting them. She is also actively involved with the U.S. actuarial organizations on issues affecting single employer, multiemployer and public sector pension plans. Ellen has held several significant leadership roles within the actuarial profession, including serving as the President of the Conference of Consulting Actuaries (2021-2022) and a member of their Board of Directors (2012 – 2018, 2020 – 2024). Ellen is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries, a Fellow of the Conference of Consulting Actuaries, an Enrolled Actuary and Fellow of the American Society of Enrolled Actuaries, and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries.
