Bio

Michelle Boyles is a consulting actuary with seventeen years of experience. Since joining Bolton, Michelle has lead a variety of projects for a broad spectrum of public sector and private sector clients, from the standard valuation process to plan design studies and plan termination. As a consulting actuary, Michelle helps clients to understand the current status and structure of their pension plans and assists them in achieving their goals – both within and outside of the pension plan.

Prior to joining Bolton, Michelle was engaged by Cheiron to focus on health and OPEB projects, but she missed pension plans too much. Before Cheiron, Michelle worked for Milliman as a consulting actuary for public sector and private sector clients sponsoring both pension and OPEB plans. While at Milliman, Michelle was the signing actuary for numerous municipalities, mainly in Connecticut and Michigan.
