Ellen Kleinstuber, FSA joined Bolton in late 2017 as a Senior Consulting Actuary leading our single-employer ERISA plan practice. A nationally recognized expert in ERISA compliance, Ellen brings over 25 years of experience delivering comprehensive employee benefit plan consulting, actuarial and plan administration services to a wide variety of plan sponsors, including publicly traded and privately held companies, multinational corporations, not-for-profit organizations and governmental entities.
Ellen holds numerous leadership positions throughout the actuarial profession, including chairperson of the Pension Committee of the American Academy of Actuaries and Vice Chairperson of the Joint Program Committee for the Enrolled Actuaries Meeting, and is a member of the Board of Directors of the Conference of Consulting Actuaries. She has been recognized by both the American Academy of Actuaries and the Society of Actuaries for her outstanding volunteerism in support of the actuarial profession. In 2017 Ms. Kleinstuber was appointed to serve on the Board of Actuaries of the Civil Service Retirement System, which provides independent advice and recommendations on actuarial matters with respect to the retirement systems covering all U.S. federal employees.
